Glasgow Independent Studios
The studio complex provided by Glasgow Independent Studios is based on the fourth floor of Trongate 103. The complex provides secure and high quality studio space for up to 36 artists. The individual studio spaces, designed to bring in as much natural light as possible, are complemented by communal spaces that encourage this support.
To apply for a studio, an applicant must demonstrate that they have a commitment to being a visual artist, that they will use the studio space for artistic work and that they will be able to meet the rent payments. Project Ability
Project Ability is a leading visual arts organisation which enables people with disabilities and mental health issues to discover their artistic expression. Their workshop spaces and production facilities will be based on the third floor of Trongate 103. The spaces and facilities will enable a range of creative activities including woodcarving, ceramics, stained glass, film making and animation, life drawing, digital arts, printmaking and other art forms.

Glasgow Media Access Centre - Studio / Screening Room
A flexible space complete with mobile cinema style seating for 48, a huge 3.5 x 2m widescreen HD projection screen and surround sound, perfect for watching back rushes or a private screening. The adjoining projection room provides capability for projecting DVD, Blu-ray, miniDV, DVCAM, HDV, Betacam SP, VHS, S-VHS, Umatic and computer VGA for slideshow presentation. The space is also equipped with two wall mounted 42" plasma screens for additional visuals.
Dimensions: 871.79 sq ft (33.30 x 26.18 feet) Training Suite A custom workshop and education space, with folding wall- mounted tables, and ceiling mounted projector for screenings or presentations.

GMAC can provide, light refreshments, flip charts, overhead projectors, TV / monitors, DVD / media players, portable LCD Projectors, and technical support / projectionists. All spaces have free access to wifi.
