On the First Thursday of every month (excluding January), T103 stays open late for an evening of art, culture and entertainment. Events may include exclusive exhibition previews, music performances, book readings, film screenings, buy art opportunities plus much more.
First Thursday returns on 6 November from 6pm with another evening of music, art and film in the heart of Glasgow.
Glasgow Print Studio will preview the new exhibition by Fiona Wilson - Who are the Birds in their Ground Floor Gallery.
GMAC Film's Cafe Flicker returns with screening and discussion of short films from local film makers. Entry is £3 or free if you bring along a film to show! Before that there is the regular Mad About Movies Junior Movie Club for 10-14 year olds from 4-6.30pm!
After the regular Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre hour long performance at 7pm there will be a special evening of songs and poems from many homes around the world, brought to Glasgow by those who've made a new home in Glasgow. Our thanks to BEMIS & Homecoming Scotland for their support of this event.
And of course there will be continuing exhibitions around the building including Asparagus Piss Raindrop's 5 week takeover of Transmission Gallery, Alasdair Gray's A Life in Print and Posters in Glasgow Print Studio, the new solo showcase from David Bradley in Project Ability and the Jill Todd Photographic Awards in Street Level Photoworks.
See you all at Trongate 103 on Thursday 6 November for another unmissable night!
P.S. Don't forget about The Thursday Exchange @GOMA. The Gallery of Modern Art is open till 8pm every Thursday and presents The Thursday Exchange, a new evening programme including arts events on the third Thursday of each month.
