Coinciding with our 40th anniversary exhibition, The Medium is the Message: Words in Printmaking Since the 1960s, GPS present some of their newest publications by John Byrne andEileen Cooper.
In the 1970s, Byrne began using the Glasgow Print Studio facilities.In 1994 Byrne held his first solo exhibition of prints and paintings in our main gallery. Since then GPS have published over 100 of his works and presented two more solo shows.
Eileen Cooper began working with Glasgow Print Studio in 2004, after meeting Glasgow Print Studio director, John MacKechnie at her solo show in New York. Glasgow Print Studio continues to publish her work, exhibiting her regularly in both group and solo exhibitions.
