From May 29th to June 23rd artists Lore Gablier (Paris), Fabian Hesse (Munich) and Daniel Müller (Munich) will be using Transmission Gallery as a resource from which to base their practices. These artists have been invited to Glasgow as part of an ongoing dialogue between Transmission and Lothringer13_Laden based in Munich.

This project developed between Lothringer13_Laden and Transmission through an interest in connecting and enabling exchange across self-organised and artist-run spaces and their broader communities (local and international).

The residency may not have a formal outcome, the gallery and the resource room will maintain normal opening hours throughout the month while Lore, Fabian and Daniel will be working with the committee to programme events and utilise Transmission. The artists and Transmission will host weekly dinners, film screenings, performances, and other events, which will be free and open to all. Specific events will be highlighted in a weekly e-shot, an updateable poster in the gallery's window, as well as on Transmission's website.

Four artists based in Glasgow: Giuseppe Mistretta, Sarah Forrest and Psykick Dance Hall (Ben Knight and Hannah Ellul) will be similarly hosted by Lothringer13_Laden during October 2012 and have organised the first event of the exchange; an event that will welcome the visiting artists at Transmission on Thursday 24th May from 8pm.
