May 2012 is a landmark month for the HND Contemporary Art Practice students at City of Glasgow College. This year's group will exhibit work in "STUDIUM", a collection of contemporary art set to engage and amuse its new public audience.
"Studium is the element that creates interest"
The viewer interprets the meaning of an artwork via this element. Our artists envision the concept and seek to present it; the viewer can only seek to decipher the piece. We use studium without even being aware of it. We invite you to find your "element of interest" at STUDIUM. Our exhibition will showcase the best of the students painting, drawing, sculpture and photography.
