Cafe Flicker is an informal networking event for film makers to screen their work, discuss it with others and network with other film makers. 

Join us @ 6:30pm on the 1^st Thursday of every month on the 5th floor of Trongate 103 for this unique opportunity to have your films screened on the big screen.

Film Submission Guidelines

Film submissions are on a "first come, first served" basis. If we have a high number of films submitted, the later submissions may not be shown (The earlier you submit you film the more likely it is to be shown).

Submitted films should be under 10 minutes in length. Films exceeding 10 minutes may be shown, dependent on the total number and running times of all other films submitted that night.

Only 1 film may be submitted per person on the night.

Submitted films allow one free entry only.

The submitting filmmaker must be present at Café Flicker on the night or the film will not be shown.

GMAC reserves the right to censor any material that may be considered inappropriate.

 

Technical Information

All films must be in PAL format on DVD, MiniDV, or DVCAM.

If you are submitting on DVD, please burn your disc without a menu, and leave at least 2 seconds of black at the beginning and end of your film.

If you are submitting on MiniDV or DVCAM, please leave at least 5 seconds of black at the beginning and end of your film.
