Make your way to the Trongate 103 foyer to witness a very unusual orchestra of inter-connected semi-mechanical instruments. This pedal driven multi-instrumental contraption includes a bass hurdy gurdy/banjo, a brass band section and a giant interactive music box.
During the weekend, the orchestra's creator, Sarah Kenchington, will perform a series of short recitals in Trongate 103's foyer space.
These performances will also be accompanied by instrument making workshops which will take place in the meeting room at Trongate 103.
The workshops will last an hour and activities will include; Imagining a new instrument, a drawing project, making and decorating your own saxophone from everyday materials, an introduction to improvisation and experimental music performance.
