On Saturday 5th May 2012, make your way to Glasgow Print Studio and join their 40th Birthday Open Day celebrations.
Take a behind the scenes look at the printmaking workshop, meet the artists who print here, join in a tour of the facilities or book up for a Little Printers Family Session and print your very own birthday cards to take away!
Archive Curator Kerry Patterson will be joined by Adrian Wiszniewski for an informal discussion on Adrian's latest exhibition Transcendental Roof Party which will be on show in the main gallery.
Little Printers Family Fun Workshop: Screen-print a Birthday Card
A birthday card workshop for families. Choose from a selection of images and print colourful designs onto cards and envelopes to take away.
11am-12.30pm
Suitable for ages 7-12yrs. Please note: Children should be accompanied by parent or guardian.

Gallery, Workshop Tour & Print Demonstration
The tour will begin in the ground floor gallery, moving through the main gallery and finish in our printmaking workshop. There will be a short artist demonstration and opportunity to "pull a print".

In Conversation with Adrian Wiszniewski
Adrian Wiszniewski will discuss his work and current exhibition with Archive Curator, Kerry Patterson. The event will begin in the first floor gallery and will be followed by an opportunity to view some of Adrian's prints in our Archive Room.

Meet the Printers - Drop in
Come along and meet the artists working in the print workshop. Feel free to ask questions and find out what inspires them to produce the work they do.
